April 24 to May 10, 2027 - Alaska and the Great Bear RainForest Itinerary

Day 1 - Vancouver BC

The perfect combination of urban meets nature, Vancouver is a hub for lovers of the great outdoors. Enjoy picturesque views of the mountains while exploring the city’s local hot spots like Stanley Park, Granville Island, Gastown and more. Don’t forget to sample the best of the local culinary and cocktail scene for something truly unique.

Day 2 - The Inside Passage

Characterized by its network of protected waterways, fjords, and lush islands, the Inside Passage is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty. This region is famous for its calm seas, abundant wildlife—including whales, eagles, and bears—and towering mountains covered in dense temperate rainforests.


Day 3 - Scenic Cruising

Take in views of one of the most remote regions of the Great Bear Rainforest. Keep your binoculars ready; wildlife is abundant. Humpback whales, otters, orcas and bald eagles are frequently spotted in the area. Highly elusive animals, such as coastal wolves and the honey-colored spirit bear also call this region home. Relax and enjoy a front-row seat to British Columbia’s untamed beauty.

Day 4 - Sitka, AK

Sitka is a picturesque coastal city nestled on Baranof Island in southeastern Alaska, surrounded by the pristine wilderness of the Tongass National Forest and the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean. Known for its stunning natural scenery, Sitka is rich in history and culture, once serving as the capital of Russian America before becoming part of the United States. k. 

Days 6 & 7 - Anchorage, AK

Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska, located in the south-central region of the state. It is known for its stunning natural scenery, including mountains, forests, and access to wildlife, as well as its vibrant cultural scene. Anchorage serves as a gateway to Alaska’s wilderness, offering outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and fishing. The city also plays a major role as a transportation hub and economic center for the region. 

Day  8 - Homer, AK

Homer is a picturesque small city located on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska. Renowned for its breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay and surrounding mountains, Homer is celebrated as a haven for artists, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts. The city is famous for its vibrant arts community, the iconic Homer Spit—a long, narrow strip of land stretching into the bay—and abundant opportunities for fishing, wildlife viewing, and kayaking.
